Absolutely. All AI-generated content is fully editable. You can customise it to match your brand voice before it goes live on your store.

We detect all 14 major allergens required under UK and EU food labeling regulations, including gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, eggs, fish, shellfish, celery, mustard, sesame, lupin, molluscs, and sulphur dioxide. These are automatically populated into Shopify's standard allergen metafields.

Yes. Our translation feature uses AI-powered translation via Shopify's Translations API, supporting all Shopify-supported locales. Useful for stores selling to international markets — the first real-world use case was a UK store with Portuguese-speaking customers.

HFSS stands for High Fat, Salt or Sugar. UK regulations restrict how HFSS food products can be advertised on platforms like TikTok Shop. DataMintify automatically calculates HFSS status for each product and sets the relevant Shopify metafield, so your advertising eligibility is always up to date.

Yes. Before enriching any product, DataMintify saves a secure restore point of your original product description. You can roll back any individual product to its pre-enrichment state with a single click at any time.

Minty Labels is DataMintify's built-in nutrition label printing feature. Once a product has been enriched with complete nutrition data, you can print a UK Food Information Regulations 2014 (FIR 2014)-compliant nutrition label directly from your product list — no design software or third-party tools required.

The Print Label button appears on any product that has been enriched with complete nutrition data — including calories, macronutrients, and allergen information. Products with incomplete enrichment data are excluded to ensure every label printed is accurate and compliant.

Each label includes your business name and address, the full nutrition declaration (energy, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sugars, fibre, protein, and salt), the ingredient list, and your default or product-specific storage instructions — all formatted to UK FIR 2014 requirements.

Minty Labels supports three sizes: 100×150 mm (standard 4"×6" thermal — ideal for dedicated label printers), A6 (105×148 mm), and A5 (148×210 mm). You can set a default size in Settings and select a different size at print time.

No. Minty Labels is included in all DataMintify plans at no additional charge. There are no per-label fees — print as many labels as you need for any enriched product.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit. Each store's data is strictly isolated — no store can access another store's data. We only request the Shopify permissions necessary to provide the service.

When you uninstall, all store-specific data is immediately and permanently deleted from our systems — product data, descriptions, enrichment history, and billing records. The only data retained is anonymised enrichment data in our shared food cache, which contains no store-identifying information.

No. Your store data is never sold or shared. We call third-party food databases to look up product data on your behalf, but your store information is never passed to them.

Billing is handled entirely through Shopify, so charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. There are no separate payment methods to manage. You can view your usage and manage your plan from within the app.

One enrichment is one product processed through the full pipeline — barcode lookup, nutrition data fetch, AI description generation (if selected), allergen detection, and Shopify update. Each product uses one enrichment credit regardless of how many data sources were needed.

Yes, you can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
